We are looking for an innovative professional with strong horticulture industry experience to join our Vendor Programs team.
The Vendor Program Manager is responsible for the following:
  • Grow sales margin revenue for assigned vendors
  • Collaborate creatively across sales management, sales team & vendors to facilitate market- leading solutions
  • Demonstrate product and portfolio expertise assigned vendors and programs
  • Develop and cultivate relationships  with assigned vendors
  • Develop new vendors based upon national & regional needs that create solutions for the McHutchison sales team and customers

Accounts Receivable Specialist
 
Job objective 
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for working directly with customers and sales representatives to ensure that customer invoice inquiries are answered to ensure that payments are made and applied to the customer account in a timely manner. 
 
Tasks and responsibilities
  • Communicates with customers to obtain payment status and arrange for payment plans when necessary
  • Works with sales personnel and management on customer accounts 
  • Maintain accounting databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
  • Perform credit checks, new customer setup, and updates customer accounts as necessary 
  • Monitor and release orders based on customer account status 
  • Places accounts on credit hold when necessary
  • Work from weekly aging reports generated to follow up on past due accounts  
  • Make approved accounts receivable adjustments on customer accounts
  • Applies customer payments from customer’s checks and ACH payments
  • Researches and reconciles customer accounts as necessary 
  • Other accounting and office duties as requested
 
Your profile
  • 3-5+ years of accounts receivable and general office experience
  • Customer collections experience preferred
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Knowledge of general accounting concepts
  • Intermediate knowledge of computerized accounting software
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Working experience with MS Business Central preferred
 
Working Conditions
  • Prolonged sitting at work station in a well-lit open office 
  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds of paper and miscellaneous supplies

Associate Developer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Application Developer with a passion for coding and less than 2 years of experience to support our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem. You will assist in DevOps activities such as application deployments, managing infrastructure, and code maintenance in all areas of a Project Lifecycle. You will collaborate with developers and consultants to ensure reliable ERP solutions while growing your Microsoft coding skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Lead/Architect to design, develop, and maintain AL code within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP.
  • Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing customizations and integrations.
  • Manage source control and branching workflows using Visual Studio Code, Git, and GitHub.
  • Support on-premise deployments through PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Contribute to software documentation, including technical specifications, change logs, and user guides.
  • Participate in all phases of the project management life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
  • Work within Jira for task tracking, sprint planning, and project collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements and system standards.
  • Gain exposure to and support projects involving Microsoft and other technologies, including Azure ecosystem, Copilot, Power BI, and Dynamics NAV.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent coursework/projects.
  • 0–2 years of experience in coding or IT (including internships, bootcamps, or personal Microsoft projects).
  • Basic proficiency in AL, C# or C++ with a strong desire to code.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server for Business Central data tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure (e.g., VMs, App Services) and Dynamics 365 Business Central (e.g., extensions, APIs).
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Git for version control.
  • Eagerness to learn Microsoft tools like Visual Studio Code for AL development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug basic code/infrastructure issues.
  • Good communication for collaborating with the business.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
  • 1–2 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central AL development (or related ERP development experience).
  • Exposure to Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) or Business Central integrations.
  • Personal projects on GitHub
  • Microsoft certifications MB-800 (Business Central Functional Consultant) or MB-820 (Business Central Developer) are a plus
Work Environment:
  • Remote, hybrid or onsite, depending on location.
  • Collaborative, supportive team with mentorship opportunities in Microsoft and other technologies.
  • May include occasional on-call support for Business Central.
